Naina is a PhD candidate at the Friedman School, Tufts University. Her research interests are maternal, child, and adolescent nutrition and exploring how food environments shape nutrition outcomes. Her PhD research focuses on exploring innovations in nutrition programs and measuring diet quality. At Childhood Obesity 180, Naina served as a research assistant on the THIS-WIC project. Before Tufts, Naina worked at the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) and the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations (FAOUN). She earned her master’s in global affairs from Tsinghua University, China, and a bachelor’s in economics and global health from Middlebury College.
