Katrina Sarson is a Project Administrator and Communications Strategist at the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy. Her work focuses on the intersection of nutrition, education, equity, and the importance of translating complex, evidence-based information so that it can be widely disseminated. Ms. Sarson’s experience includes two decades as an Emmy-Award winning television producer/writer, and radio and on-camera presence, most recently at Oregon Public Broadcasting; and experience teaching cooking and baking online and in person. She has earned an M.S. from the Friedman School, an M.Ed from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a B.A. from Northwestern University.
