Following an extensive national search and competitive Request for Partnerships (RFP) process, the Catalyzing Communities Initiative at the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy has announced their 2021 cohort of three new community partners. The coalitions, based in Chicago IL, Worcester MA, and Harris County TX, join existing Catalyzing Communities partners from around the country (Cuyahoga County OH, East Boston MA, Greenville SC, Tucson AZ, Milwaukee WI and Harlem NY).
Catalyzing Communities works with community coalitions to provide training, technical, and financial support as part of an innovative, long-term research study. Coalition members will work with the investigative research team at Catalyzing Communities to bring evidence-based solutions to their communities, with the goal of promoting policy, systems, and environmental change that can equitably and collectively improve the health of all children.
